If only it were as easy as these posters make it look... we've been searching for great surf spots all over the island, and haven't found any swell until we reached Hilo. We found a great spot, but already was occupied by about 100 locals, so I think we're gonna save the surfing for another trip. We've got a great day of swimming, snorkeling, hiking and visiting the volcano ahead of us. I love Hawaii, even if we didn't get a chance to surf.
