My friend Evan just My introduced me to the amazing work of Owen Gildersleeve. At first glance his work, featured in many different editorials, looks like some great photo-shopping was done to it, but NO - he makes everything completely by hand, either cutting intricate shapes out of paper, cross stitching, or making detailed objects like holiday scarves out of pine needles, Christmas cookies, beads and pine-cones (shown above). Very impressed by his skills with paper and x-acto knives... Check out more of his work here.
